Amy was amazing! Her salon is so cute and perfect to bring your family in for some hair cuts. She was able to fit both of my kids same day for an appointment. She had cool chairs and toys, a tv where they could pick what they want to watch, and lollipops!!! Will be going back!!

Found Amy! So glad we stumbled upon Yelp! kids cuts as we had previously had Amy at another north county place and were saddened she was no longer there. BBK came up quickly when searching.
Located at Sola Salon in Carlsbad but worth the drive for us! She does all the things the last place did- cut, braid, balloon, hair accessories and provided entertainment for the kiddos while she cut their hair (video games, TV & cool car/ bike to sit in). Our experience was great just as it was before, she does the best braids!!!! Patient, personable and great with kids. My daughters were so excited and had a great time. Left with balloon & lollipop.
We are excited to become regulars here.

Great little boys haircut and stylist has a lot of experience managing squirmy kids. My 3yo son is not fond of the buzz cutters and she had backup after backup distraction at the ready. She was also very accommodating to my last minute schedule change. The space was clean and my son loved the working gas pedal on the car chair.

Amy was very kind and efficient with her haircut for my 18 month old wiggly cranky son. He has a low attention span for any haircuts. Amy was lovely in conversation and was quick to offer lollipops, balloons or other toys to help soothe my little guy. In addition her prices are very fair. I highly recommend this location, particularly if you have a kiddo who will just not be able to be managed at a traditional hair cut location. She gets the job done with patience and kindness.

We've taken our daughter to Sharkey's since her first hair cut. We had family photos today so I wanted her hair to look nice and also give my son his first haircut
Of course, I bribed my daughter this morning with all of the perks of Sharkey's (nails, glitter, balloons, cars to sit in, TV, an friendly staff). We tried to make an appointment and they were all booked up.
I scrambled to find an alternative without letting my daughter down. We had our fingers crossed with Bizzie Bee, hoping for even a smidge of the same experience
Low and behold, Amy has been working with children for 25+ years and used to work at..... Sharkey's!!! Amy delivered identical services as Sharkey's. The additional perk - It was a private salon so I didn't have to worry about my daughter being overwhelmed by other children running around and loud noises (which she's sometimes sensitive to). It's was such a private experience and we are so thrilled by the customer service, expertise, friendliness and welcoming we received from Amy.
